Distribution Manager

Duties:

  • Oversee the entire distribution process, including receiving, storage, and shipment of products
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize distribution operations and improve efficiency
  • Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to ensure timely delivery of products
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage stock control systems to minimize stockouts and excess inventory
  • Train and supervise distribution staff, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and company policies
  • Analyze data and generate reports on distribution performance, identifying areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and procurement, to streamline processes and enhance customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a distribution manager or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of distribution operations, inventory management, and supply chain principles
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on insights
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational skills

Certification:

  • Forklift Certification an asset

Experience:

  • Must have previous experience in a similiar role
  • Competitive salary based on level of experience
