The Amazon Canada Creators Business Development Team collaborates with a large number of Canadian websites, publishers, blogs and Influencers. These Creators create original content to help customers make informed purchase decisions on Amazon.

Our Creators business is an integral part of the Amazon marketing mix, bringing new customers to the site, driving existing customers to discover new products or programs including the many benefits of Amazon Prime.

With its global network of over 1MM publishers and influencers, the Creators program is a leader in online marketing and one of the largest paid marketing channels for Amazon.

As a customer obsessed, digital media enthusiast, you will influence and build upon the success we have had with top Canadian and Quebec Publishers as well as Quebec Influencers.

Using your deep knowledge of the Quebec market and digital media landscape, and with a solution-oriented mindset, you will identify and develop new business relationships and opportunities for Amazon and collaborate with and influence our category, deal and product teams to develop innovative programs which help unlock new opportunities for Amazon and our Creators.

Your first language is Canadian French, you are an excellent oral and written communicator in both French and English, and you possess an analytical approach to business development, leveraging data to drive decisions.

You are highly organized and have the ability to work closely and constructively with multiple internal and external stakeholders. You are particularly adept at developing strong, one-to-one relationships with media executives.

You have experience navigating technical and product requirements and adoption and have the ability to influence technical leaders and incorporate technical requirements into negotiations and contracts.

You excel at developing relationships - both internal and external. This role will work closely with many of Amazon's strategic businesses to structure innovative and impactful deals.

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage the Amazon French Canadian Creator business
  • Provide thought leadership, and educate various internal stakeholders on customer trends and investment opportunities for growth in Quebec
  • Own KPIs, Business Review inputs, and Creator P&L for Quebec
  • Own annual Creator revenue growth objectives for the Quebec market
  • Define, identify, approach and onboard to Amazon top strategic digital publishers, influencers and commerce content creators in Quebec
  • Grow and scale existing Creators partnerships
  • Drive special deal terms and negotiations with publishers and influencers to optimize growth
  • Drive adoption of products for publishers and influencers, including tools to implement effective integrations (links, display units, etc.), reporting tools, product feeds etc.
  • Work closely with leadership and product teams to inform product roadmap and provide feedback on product requirements
  • Partner with Marketing and Retail category leaders to support strategic Amazon businesses

To excel in this role, you will:

  • Have strong knowledge of the Quebec market, key media players and top influencers
  • Be willing to "roll up your sleeves" and operate with limited guidance
  • Bring analytical horsepower and a deep curiosity about how things work
  • Be commercially savvy and have excellent business judgment
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and be able to influence both internal and external stakeholders, both technical and nontechnical
About the team

The Creators team goal is to make Amazon the Earth's most desired destination for commerce influencers, associates (publishers, bloggers, and more) and their content.

We seek to strengthen creators' sense of community, fandom, credibility, and provide positive feedback loops.

Our Business Development team directly collaborates with strategic creators to directly impact and transform the way they can create, and earn from us at scale.
