The Finance and Accounting Student will perform various administrative functions for the accounting department and work on related projects as assigned.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:


Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Finance & Accounting Student will perform various administrative and analytical functions for the Finance and Accounting department and work on related projects as assigned.


Key Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Assists with weekly KPI file preparation and analysis
  • Assists with month end financial closing and performs data analysis on spendings
  • Assists with updating and maintaining inventory costing and variance analysis in NAV
  • Analyzes outsourced parts and investigates differences in costing
  • Assists in mapping/updating the ERP system associated with the ERP Cloud Transformation project (customer and vendor master files)
  • Prepares adhoc reports as required by management
  • All other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of computers, standard corporate software (Microsoft Office, ERP-Navision GP Dynamics preferred)
  • Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills, presentation skills are required
  • Solid analytical skills and integrative thinking
  • Attention to detail
