The role and what you will do

  • Administer employment change tracking and the internal notification process to support the management of all internal organizational changes and workforce inventory (new hires, promotions, departures, extensions)
  • Support the recruitment and selection process by supporting the hiring managers
  • Support with onboarding and orientation for all new hires; lead scheduling and work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver an effective onboarding experience
  • Act as the liaison between the Coop group at NETGEAR and management
  • Support the Coops via social events, 1:1s and other offerings as needed
  • Support the HR team in maintaining accurate and timely information for HR files
  • Work on HR related projects, such as Engineering coop hiring, revising our fullcycle recruiting program, employer branding, HR data analytics, etc.
  • Other HR administrative functions as needed

What you'll bring to the role

  • Strong MS Office proficiency (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to effectively communicate in an open and direct manner; conveys information clearly and concisely with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detailed orientated and organized; able to perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong ability to work within a team as well as an ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Knowledge and interest in the Human Resources Field
  • Strong ethics in regard to privacy, confidentiality and protecting the interests of the company
  • Excellent customer service skills to meet the requests of our team members

  • Completion or working toward a postsecondary Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management; working toward CHRP
  • Experience working in an office environment
  • Previous experience in an HR environment
  • Applicant Tracking System and recruitment experience
