We are looking for a Sales Account Manager specialized in truck-mounted equipment for the Southern Region of Alberta (south of Red Deer). The ideal candidate should have a diverse sales background, which may include experience in commercial truck equipment sales, heavy-duty truck sales, or industrial equipment sales. This position will be based in or around the Calgary area and will be remote.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Drive profitable sales growth by reaching out to new and existing accounts throughout Southern Alberta
  • Understand customers' needs and offer cost-effective solutions to boost customer spending, fostering long-term loyalty and retention
  • Identify account opportunities by setting call priorities and meeting frequencies to acquire and retain new business within the assigned territory
Qualifications:
  • Preferably, a minimum of five (5) years of relevant outside sales experience in the industrial, heavy equipment, or material handling sector, with a focus on independently prospecting, qualifying, developing, and finalizing business through a consultative sales approach
  • Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and establish enduring customer relationships
  • Experience in selling to public sector entities, especially municipalities and utilities, is a valuable asset
  • Familiarity with the tendering process and RFQ completion
  • Knowledge and appreciation of heavy equipment in industrial and transportation environments
  • Proficient in using CRM or sales tracking systems
  • Must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Post-secondary education combined with formal sales training would be advantageous
  • Willingness to travel frequently for customer visits, tradeshows, etc.
