The Opportunity:

The firm is seeking a service-oriented professional to join the Client Administration team as a
Coordinator, Client Administration.

The team works closely with the Client Wealth Management and Compliance teams through the client lifecycle, processing documentation and account instructions.

This role will be for an initial 6 month contract.

You are naturally curious and interested in gaining a deep understanding of the investment lifecycle and our regulatory environment. You will quickly and effectively troubleshoot issues through an understanding of client account documentation and downstream operational processes. You are a team player who can build strong firmwide relationships.

What you will do:

  • Prepare, maintain, and update client information across systems. Including appropriate follow up for missing, additional, or expired documentation.
  • Effectively communicate and maintain positive internal and external relationships with all departments.
  • Monitor case queries, assisting clients with Portal login, providing statements and tax packages, handling general account inquiries, etc.
  • Initiate the transfer process of cash and securities including monitoring of status and maintaining communication with appropriate parties.
  • Run and analyze data sets. Draw conclusions and insight from data.
  • Perform additional administrative duties and tasks as deemed appropriate i.e. triaging of information/inquiries to appropriate internal stakeholders,_ _scanning, filing, photocopying and data maintenance.

What you bring:

  • Postsecondary/university degree, or relevant work experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel is required.
  • Previous experience in client service support is an asset.
  • General knowledge of the investment industry and financial markets
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with investment professionals and build relationships across teams.
  • Adaptability, and ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
