YOUR ROLE

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate daily with our domestic carriers and sales teams to coordinate deliveries, handle troubleshooting and stakeholder escalations in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist/lead special projects, such as lead time and cost optimization analysis.
  • Monitor carrier KPIs using reporting tools (mainly Excel based) and report on carrier performance to your Director and other interested parties.
  • Contribute to increasing the efficiency and productivity of the Transportation team (continous improvement projects, update SOPs, etc.)
  • Collaborate in/support xdepartmental initiatives (DC, eComm Ops, Store Ops, Inventory, Distribution, etc.
  • Communicate with freight forwarders to coordinate ocean/air shipments into North America.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to coordinate transportation of supplier pickups.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to coordinate transportation of wholesale shipments.
  • Coordinate seamless transportation for store opening/closures/renovations.
  • Identify areas of development within the Transportation department and suggest process improvements.

DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A., B.Sc., BComm., etc.)
  • 13 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to progress on multiple tasks/projects at once, and provide quick turnaround on stakeholder inquiries
  • Detail oriented and comfortable with data manipulation (strong proficiency in Excel is required)
  • Strong critical/strategic thinking and problemsolving skills
  • Strong analytical skills to monitor progress of an undertaking and identify areas needing adjustment or improvement
  • Ability to clearly communicate (verbal and written) information, requirements, expectations and updates to a wide range of individuals.
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Agile working style
