The Intern, Transport will perform analysis and research of existing freight operations with a focus on service improvement, productivity improvements and cost control.
the Intern is responsible for data gathering and analysis, process mapping, time studies and simulation of results.This opportunity will support operational decision making, project management, and contribute to service delivery and cost improvements to support our customer promise.
The Internship Program will begin on May 13th and end August 16th, 2024.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER...- Identify and implement cost savings and cost avoidance opportunities- Track, analyze, and optimize freight movements.
YOU ARE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU...- Are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field (you have at least completed the second year);- Are active in extracurricular activities on campus or in the community;- Have previous related internship experience (an asset);- Are detail-oriented, analytical, self-motivated and willing to take initiative;- Ability to model operational problems effectively;- Are not afraid to get acquainted with your team and business partners, quickly building relationships;- Bilingual (English/French), both spoken and written - will interact with partners across Canada- Have strong time management and organizational skills: you will manage priorities and multiple projects at a time all while ensuring to meet deadlines.
