What you'll be doing:

Procurement solution provider

  • Ensure a timely arrival of goods through reliable shipment planning and rigorous operation tracking.
  • Determine (along with the CAC) prioritization, either by type of flow (train terminal or boat) or according to product shortages and according to the needs of our customers.
  • Be visible to customers, towards order traceability (RS, CAC, etc.).
  • Be the connection between the suppliers (DPP) and warehouses (CAC), and guarantee delivery date with the tools available.
  • Negotiate the best rates and question my local partners about their fees.
Transportation controller

  • Ensure timely validation or dispute resolution for all invoices.
  • Regularly communicate with carriers to ensure the quality of delivery and accuracy of information within the tools. Serve as the primary point of contact for carriers in the event of any disputes with the destination warehouse.
  • Regularly manage my commercial partner's activities and QMRs issues, highlighting the quality of their activity (carrier, freight forwarder, customs broker) and optimizing their service.
Ensure security for our customs operations

  • Familiarize yourself with the customs regulations and standards applicable in the area.
  • Ensure procedures are completed smoothly and maintain a good relationship with our customs suppliers.
  • Verify that only quality documents are submitted to our customs broker.
  • Ensure the correct amount of customs duty is paid to customs authorities.
  • Verify the accuracy of the customs cost references within the different tools.
  • Complete periodic risk assessments on our customs operations.

  • Measure the quality of services provided, costs, and lead times.
  • Optimize operations, actions, and analyses.
  • Innovate and bring continuous improvements.
  • Communicate for effective collaboration.
  • Master the rules of international transportation regulations.

Ideal profile:

  • Education related to international trade and/or logistics (or similar field).
  • Oneyear of experience as an international transportation or customs agent is an asset.
  • Dynamic and enjoys working as a team.
  • Ability to analyze.
  • Demonstrate rigor.
  • Ability to manage priorities.
  • Bilingual French/English.
