YOUR ROLE

Responsibilities:

  • Promotes and initiates continuous improvements in order to improve organizational processes and generate superior business results
  • Deliver weekly/monthly comprehensive and detailed monthly financial reporting to Team One, Finance and key Commercial stakeholders for our Int'l shipments (inbound/outbound and eComm), where all variances are quantified and explained in detail
  • Audit and process invoices/csv files weekly
  • Assist the Director in the preparation of budget/forecast
  • Create monthly financial KPIs showcasing opportunities for better cost control
  • Support Director and team with adhoc analytics or supplier facing needs (RFx quote comparisons, spend/account related carrier followups, account setup/maintenance, etc)
  • Contribute to increasing the efficiency and productivity of the International Transportation team and find continuous improvement in financial/analytical processes
  • Responsible for completing objectives setting and selfassessment
  • Coordinates efforts for keeping his/her Position Description up to date
  • Participates in periodic staff meetings to discuss and align business opportunities and priorities
  • With the support of the immediate supervisor, responsible for personal development and career planning
