The Position:

Here's what you will get to do:

  • Performs peer review, provides technical input and feedback, and oversees build estimates for cluster
  • Collects requirements regarding potential system enhancements or new system implementation and prepares details of specifications needed
  • Investigates standardization and process improvement opportunities while making build decisions
  • Participates in Application & Leader On-Call rotation
  • Participates in Change Management and data migration review board

What you need:

  • Successful completion of either a university degree or college diploma in a computer science or a healthrelated discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of previous hospital experience in a team environment required
  • Epic certification in one or more Epic modules as assigned required
  • Full lifecycle Epic implementation with golive experience
  • Subject matter expert who has a good grasp of THP's policies and procedures
  • Moderate technical aptitude
  • Demonstrated flexibility with respect to changing end user needs
  • The ability and willingness to see things in an openminded way and examine an idea or concept from as many angles as possible
  • The ability and willingness to take ownership of work activities and ensure that they are completed in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner
  • The ability to communicate information clearly and concisely with project leadership and other stakeholders
  • The ability to persevere in difficult situations, overcome obstacles, and reach high levels of performance when faced with stressful work situations and time pressures
