About the Role

We're looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in SAP applications and a proven track record of leading teams to success. As the Lead, Applications - SAP, you'll be responsible for coordinating software maintenance and development activities, guiding IT resources, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate software maintenance and development activities to ensure timely and effective delivery of software solutions
  • Guide and influence IT resources to achieve business objectives
  • Oversee project lifecycles and ensure successful delivery of high-quality software solutions
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including technical specification documents, functional specification documents, and impact analysis
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design, and solution buy-in
  • Lead discussions with business stakeholders to ensure technical implementation of features aligns with business objectives
  • Prepare software packages for deployment and ensure adherence to standard deployment policies
  • Act as the point of contact for major upgrades and plan testing and change in functionality

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 7-10+ years of progressive work experience in software development, with 3-5+ years of experience as an Applications or Team lead
  • Hands-on experience in developing RICEFWs and good knowledge of FICO configurations
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to interact with business users and stakeholders
  • Experience working with North American business/organizations (CAN/US/Mexico)
  • Excellent organization, logic, and analytical skills with a strong aptitude for problem-solving
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues, propose effective solutions, and drive projects to successful completion
  • Skilled at influencing others who do not report directly to them
  • Proven ability to apply agile concepts and methodology to ensure technology solutions are flexible to meet changing business needs
  • Knowledge of various IT development practices and tools
