Element Fleet Management is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Lead, Applications - SAP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating all software maintenance and development activities, guiding and influencing IT resources, and overseeing project lifecycles to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate software maintenance and development activities to ensure timely and effective delivery of software solutions.
- Guide and influence IT resources, including internal and external teams, to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Oversee project lifecycles, including planning, execution, and monitoring, to ensure successful delivery of software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and develop project plans.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including technical specifications, functional specifications, and impact analyses.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members and ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Participate in design and change committee meetings to provide technical input and recommendations.
- Research and recommend enhancements to SAP functional areas, including the use and integration of cloud products.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 7-10+ years of progressive work experience in software development, with at least 3-5 years of experience as an Applications or Team lead.
- Hands-on experience in developing RICEFWs and good knowledge of FICO configurations.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to interact with business users and stakeholders.
- Experience working with North American business/organizations (CAN/US/Mexico).
- Excellent organization, logic, and analytical skills, with a strong aptitude for problem-solving.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues, propose effective solutions, and drive projects to successful completion.
- Skilled at influencing others who do not report directly to them.
- Proven ability to apply agile concepts and methodology to ensure technology solutions are flexible to meet changing business needs.
- Knowledge of various IT development practices and tools.
- Ability to successfully interface with all levels and areas of the organization.
