Reporting to the Director of Corporate Procurement, the Manager Fieldglass Office is accountable for leading the sustainment of the Ariba Fieldglass system, sustaining the contingent workforce's best practices and standards.

This position is also responsible for developing and enhancing the Fieldglass tool as Nutrien continues expanding the functionality outside the contingent workforce and into the Scope of Work function.

With the goal of bringing efficiency and effectiveness to Nutrien's world-class procurement.


This position is located in
Calgary, Alberta, Canada, or Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, or Loveland, Colorado, U.S.A., and is available for hybrid work.


What you will do:

  • Drive strategy development and identification of short, medium, and longterm direction for the Fieldglass Office
  • Manage the Fieldglass Office including the daytoday management and compliance working collaboratively with crossfunctional partners (Finance, HR, Legal, Procurement, IT)
  • Improve Ariba Fieldglass's overall effectiveness and efficiency
  • Continuous optimization and utilization of the Ariba Fieldglass tool throughout Nutrien's Business Units
  • Perform periodic training sessions on Fieldglass business systems tools and enhancements, and new business practices and processes
  • Perform periodic audits to assess compliance with Fieldglass best practices and industry benchmarks and influence and drive operational improvements
  • Stewardship of the Key Performance Indicators for the Fieldglass Office
  • Key contact strategic matters and acts as an escalation point for complex and sensitive issues within the Fieldglass Office
  • Work crossfunctionally within the organization to impact and guide the change through the implementation and sustainment of Fieldglass
  • Work with the Procurement Governance & Systems team to perform periodic audits on specific business key controls (SOX requirements and SAP authorization requests), ensure optimization and full utilization of the SAP Fieldglass tool
  • Lead crossfunctional efforts with external and internal stakeholders to improve Fieldglass functionality, integrations, and data integrity.
  • Enable governance to guidelines, policies, processes, and legal compliance.
  • Provide information concerning business intelligence, benchmarking, and workforce analytics and consolidate data/information to present for review with key stakeholders and drive factbased decisionmaking.
  • Providing leadership and coaching, including directing daytoday activities, establishing goals, and managing performance to direct report(s).
  • Other duties as necessary

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor of Business, Supply Chain Administration, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum eight+ years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing and supply chain administration
  • Certifications in disciplines such as Procurement (SCMP/CPSM), Inventory Management (CIPS)
  • Expert understanding of ERP business systems and SAP Fieldglass or other VMS software
  • Strong leadership and change management experience
  • Strong multistakeholder communication and training skills
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats to various audiences, including senior leadership
  • Ability to develop partnerships and establish trust and credibility across all levels
  • Ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands
  • Ability to work proactively to anticipate issues and develop/improve processes
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment with a high sense of urgency
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and SLA's
  • Excellent oral communication and presentation skills to set a clear direction
