POSITION SUMMARY:
- Coordinate unit activities to promote relationships with patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals
- Contribute to the efficient function of the unit through effective clerical and communication activities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Primary contact person for the unit
- Reporting to Manager, Inpatient Unit & Emergency Room - St. Marys
- Salary: $ to $ per hour
REQUIREMENTS:
- Two-year Medical Office Administration Diploma
- Minimum one year of experience in a healthcare setting
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Computer literate with knowledge of Meditech Information System and Microsoft Office Applications
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize work, and multi-task
- Work independently or collaboratively with healthcare team members
