ROLE OF A PATIENT CARE ASSISTANT: In this position, you will play a crucial role in addressing patient needs to ensure their ongoing comfort while delivering both direct and indirect supportive nursing care within our Acute Surgical Unit.
WORK SCHEDULE: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required, or enrollment in a health assistant program at a vocational institution.
- Experience in patient care or completion of at least one semester in a healthcare-related course is necessary.
- Current CPR certification is required or must be obtained within six months of employment.
- Comprehensive Crisis Management certification is needed or must be acquired within twelve months of employment.
