About the Role- Provide a high standard of care to patients in a fast-paced inpatient setting
- Work collaboratively with the nursing team to maintain professional and organizational standards
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and contribute to the development of nursing practice
- Organize, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Administer medication and participate in Medication Reconciliation
- Participate in the orientation, mentorship, and preceptoring of staff
- Represent nursing on various committees as required
- Practice independently according to professional and organizational standards
- Graduation from an approved/recognized school of nursing program
- Current and continuing practicing licensure with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (CRNNL)
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (CPR)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Competitive salary range: NS-28 of the RNUNL Salary Scales, $37.86 to $47.16 per hour
Work ScheduleCalled as needed with a commitment of 900 hours per fiscal year
