EHN Canada prides themselves on providing both excellent and accessible care to all Canadians.As part of an interdisciplinary team the LPN will provide a comprehensive assessment of clients with mental health and addictions related issues and provide treatment management, guidance and prescribe medications in accordance with the statutory and regulatory standards.
The LPN provides nursing care to clients, administers medications in accordance with organizational and pharmaceutical policies and procedures, and provides support to the Nursing Team and Physician as directed.
The LPN will be required to work all shifts, which includes days, nights and weekends.Assists in establishing and maintaining procedures and policies to ensure proper residential treatment.
Provides on call nursing coverage as necessary
Facilitates communication with the physician regarding medical services
Conducts urinalysis collection with clients as deemed necessary.
Participates in any quality assurance program and seeks to continuously improve the program within fiscal and departmental parameters
Graduate of an accredited school of Licensed Practical Nurses with pharmacological training
Licensed Practical Nurse registered in the Province of British Columbia
Knowledge of / experience with a team based person-centered care approach
