Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play an essential role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents through attentive and personalized care.

Responsibilities

• Observing, monitoring, and documenting residents' physical and psychological conditions.
• Provides and assists with personal care to residents as required.
• Providing personal care as needed, and supporting emergency staff scheduling.
• Ensuring adherence to infection control practices.
• Assesses resident health status, including differentiating between normal and abnormal physical findings, recognizing deviations from mental health baseline, and differentiating between dementia and delirium.

Requirements

• Graduation from a recognized Practical Nursing program.
• Active registration with the BCCNM as an LPN.
• Occupational First Aide Level 1 certification.
• Satisfactory proof of COVID-19 vaccinations.
• Effective communication skills in English.
