Summary
A gas station attendant is a customer service professional responsible for serving customers at a gasoline service station. They perform various tasks such as pumping fuel, checking oil levels, cleaning windshields, and collecting payments.
They also maintain a clean and organized station, and ensure the safe handling and storage of gasoline and other hazardous materials.
Excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as the ability to handle money and operate equipment, are essential for this role.
Primary Responsibilities- Serve customers by pumping fuel, checking oil levels, and cleaning windshields
- Collect payments and handle money accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station
- Ensure safe handling and storage of gasoline and other hazardous materials
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers
- Operate equipment such as fuel pumps and payment terminals
- Adhere to safety procedures and regulations related to gasoline storage and handling
- Mange store cleanness and help stock items on empty.
