Job Description:

The Lead Financial Analyst is a key member of the HofR finance team.

The primary objectives of this role is to assist in the achievement of the HofR financial objectives, play a key role in the ongoing advancement of the HofR financial systems & processes, and to play a key role in partnering with our commercial and operational teams to ensure alignment and forecasting accuracy.

This role can be based in Canada out of the HofR office in Saint-Jérôme, QC or in the United States out of the Moen office in North Olmsted, OH.


Responsibilities

FP&A responsibilities:

  • Lead annual planning and monthly forecasting process for portions of the business, partnering with business leaders and their teams to deliver against financial targets and appropriately communicate risks and opportunities to leadership
  • Ensure forecast accuracy for select portions of our financial statements
  • Prepare and issue consolidating reporting (single source of truth for planning/forecasting)
  • Assist in coordination of monthly and quarterly business review materials
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and lead special projects
  • Profitability, inventory management, promotion effectiveness, forecast accuracy analysis

AS&M and SG&A responsibilities:

  • Work with cost center owners to build accurate Selling, General, and Administrative (SG&A) forecasts (excl. Sales controllable expenses)
  • Communicate SG&A business drivers to cost center and P&L owners (excl. Sales)
  • Work with business partners to consolidate and load total Advertising, Selling, and Marketing (ASM) forecast, review with key business leaders

Financial forecast & close responsibilities:

  • Assist in building of Annual Plan and monthly Forecast for SG&A (excl. Sales controllable expenses); consolidate total USB ASM forecast/plan
  • Prepare monthly commentary with business drivers for ASM and SG&A (excl. Sales controllable expenses)
  • Review forecast assumptions, drivers, and variances (bridge) with Finance team and leadership
  • Assist in Working Capital Efficiency (WCE) reporting and forecasting, partnering with Supply Chain and Accounts Receivable

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required; CPA certification and/or MBA is preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience, preferable in a branded goods manufacturing company
  • Available to travel 2 to 4 times per year
  • Self-Starter who has had success working in ambiguous situations
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Accountable
  • Values data reliability and accuracy
  • Strong analysis skills


MS office required
  • SAP and Qlikview experience preferred
  • Must be a team player with the ability to think conceptually, be flexible, and strategic
  • Have and enterprisewide mindset and seek to influence business partners to do the same

  • Demonstrated success working with crossfunctional team and business partners
