Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Financial Analyst, you will deliver financial and control expertise to the Measurement and Analyses division, focusing on benchmarking key performance indicators (KPIs) while collaborating with fellow finance professionals to grasp the factors influencing financial performance. You will analyze business performance, including financial modeling to predict impacts and risks, and propose areas for ongoing enhancement. This position requires onsite collaboration with Plant Leadership.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the creation of financial reports, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting documents and presentations.
  • Ensuring compliance with Accounting Policies, Internal Controls, and Assurance, while maintaining proper documentation for future audits.
  • Accurately reviewing and categorizing income and expenditures, ensuring adherence to company policies regarding general accounting practices, budgets, and procedures.
  • Conducting analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts, verifying transactions and journal entries, and preparing schedules, variance analyses, and reports for management review.
  • Supporting period-end reporting, minor cost accounting tasks, and special projects, including month-end activities such as account analyses, reconciliations, and journal entry preparation.
  • Enhancing performance to boost productivity by developing automated solutions, reducing redundancy, and coordinating information requirements.
Qualifications for the Role
  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business is highly preferred.
  • 3 to 7 years of experience in a cost accounting or factory financial analyst role.
  • Familiarity with computerized accounting systems and financial reporting software, including SAP, Oracle, or similar financial systems.
  • Cost accounting experience is essential.
  • Proficiency in English is required, with French being necessary for regular communication with local customers.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency with other Microsoft Office products (BI, Tableau, etc.).
