As the Philanthropy Coordinator -Community Events, you will report to the Senior Development Officer or the Manager of Events and Sponsorship.

Your main responsibility will be to help plan, organize, and evaluate community events and partnerships that support the foundation. These events may include digital, hybrid, or in-person community events. Additionally, you will provide support maintain accurate records, data, and working plans

RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES

RESPONSIBILITY - Event and Partnership Support

Activities:

  • General administrative duties including database cleanup, mailings, digital file maintenance, thank you calls, reviewing event requests for community events
  • Support with organizing budgets and record keeping for Community portfolio
  • Developing and coordinating the production of eventrelated materials, such as donor correspondence and communications, marketing materials, letters, meeting notes, and other correspondence for community events
  • Support with donor outreach and help cultivate relationships for community fundraisers
  • Attend community events as required and supporting with cheque presentations
  • As required, assist with donor events, community, and signature events, including recruitment of volunteers, selection, placement, orientation/training, communication, and stewardship.
  • Cultivation of corporate and cause marketing partnerships.
  • Organizing and supporting event raffles and auctions.
  • Communicating tax receipt guidelines and restrictions.
  • Developing and updating eventrelated websites, correspondence, and general commu
