Standard Machine is seeking an _18-month Term_
Human Resources Analyst, with a targeted start date of April or May 2023 through to September or October 2024 to fill a maternity leave.


Reporting to the General Manager, the
Human Resources Analyst is responsible for recruitment, performance management, HR policy, and employee engagement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Leads fullcycle recruitment for positions at all levels in conjunction with the management team.
  • Onboards new employees with respect to HR, including ongoing HR training for all staff.
  • Facilitiesperformance management cycle throughout the year, including goal setting, frequent feedback, positive and constructive feedback, and formal reviews.
  • Responds to employee inquires, seeking out timely and accurate information.
  • Liaisons between employees and management at all levels, mediating when required.
  • Administers all compensation and position changes, obtaining appropriate approvals and reviews.
  • Maintains HRIS system including employee information and compensation updates.
  • Conducts thorough and objective workplace investigations, documents results, recommends corrective action, and ensures appropriate followup.
  • Evaluates and administers performance improvement plans and disciplines when required.
  • Implements local and corporate programs that will drive increased employee satisfaction.
  • Stays abreast on legislative requirements and changes (ie: CRA, Employment Standards, Workers' Compensation, Human Rights, Privacy legislation, etc.) to ensure compliance.
  • Liaise with various government agencies including Service Canada, Employment Standards boards, Human Rights commissions, CRA, etc.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or relevant field.
