Role and Responsibilities


Being part of the Engineering Centralized Planning and Control Group, the independent project administrator is the main point of contact and is responsible for the assignation of resources from various departments (software, hardware & courseware) who have been identified for independent development projects.

The incumbent will, monitor and validate the eligibility of said resources, maintain traceability of documentation and ensure all entry and exit requirements are met and are within the guidelines.

Here are some of the main tasks related to this position:

  • Manage project set up and accesses in SharePoint.
  • In collaboration with other stakeholders, prepare all documentation related to new projects in relation to resource assignations.
  • Organize and document resource requests and assignations to specific projects.
  • Validate and ensure eligibility requirements are met and are within the provided guidelines.
  • Request and collect all necessary documentation from resources.
  • Follow the training evolution for each resource (assignments, results, reminders etc.)
  • Ensure traceability of all documentation related to entry and exit of resources on said projects.
  • Set up and maintain project restrictions within the tool for assignations.
  • Regularly validate and maintain resource lists associated to independent development projects.
  • Maintain open communication with technical authorities assigned to these projects.
  • Create, maintain, and update all documentation in relation to all independent project activities.
  • In collaboration with relevant stakeholders, put forth new ideas for process improvements and lead continuous improvement workshops.
  • Participate in other administrative functions as required.
  • DEC in administration or bachelor's degree
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) with the ease to learn new software tools.
