About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our dynamic team.

This role focuses on meticulously inspecting exhaust products, documenting deviations via non-conformance reports, collaborating on improvement opportunities, investigating quality issues, and ensuring adherence to safety standards.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough visual inspections on products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Write comprehensive Non-Conformance reports detailing any issues identified during inspections.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and implement opportunities for improvement in product quality and manufacturing processes.
  • Investigate nonconformances and quality issues to determine root causes and develop effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain and update various forms and records related to quality control activities.
  • Assisting in the resolution of customer complaints related to product quality or performance.
  • Monitoring production processes to identify and address potential quality issues in realtime.
  • Participate in safety initiatives to promote a safe work environment.

Health & Safety Responsibilities:

  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Report any safety hazards or concerns immediately.
  • Participate in safety training sessions and workshops.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years' previous experience as a Quality Inspector/Quality Assurance role or similar.
  • Previous experience in an ISO 9001 QMS team is a plus.
  • Proven experience using Microsoft Windows based computer programs.
  • Good understanding of ISO 9001 standards.
  • Ability to present in front of stakeholders and managers.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to move objects weighing 50lbs unassisted.

Physical Demands:

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this role, the employee may be required to stand or walk for extended periods, conduct visual inspections of exhaust products, and occasionally lift or move objects weighing up to 50lbs unassisted. The employee must be able to wear required PPE while in the workshop areas.

Work Environment:

  • The work environment for this role may vary depending on the specific setting, such as a Blanket Shop, Metal Shop, or Warehouse. However, in all environments, the employee may be required to spend a significant amount of time engaged in tasks that require focus and attention, including visual inspections, data entry, and documentation.

How to apply:

Salary:
$23.00-$24.00 per hour
