Key Responsibilities:Proactive Order Management:
- Closely monitor fitting orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Promptly communicate any issues or challenges to relevant stakeholders to address potential delays.
- Verify order specifics, including locations, dates, and technician qualifications.
- Ensure technicians have the required certifications and site access, proactively resolving any discrepancies.
- Upload field fitting jobs to project management tools for effective tracking and preparation.
- Maintain and update project boards for real-time visibility and task management.
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and inspection of diesel exhaust systems and thermal blankets for heavy industrial machinery.
- Perform field tasks utilizing expertise in diesel exhaust systems, welding, and electrical work while adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Engage in customer interactions on-site and address technical challenges as they arise.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during field operations.
- Travel independently to various locations, including challenging environments.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure smooth field operations.
- Coordinate logistics to ensure seamless access for field technicians, including travel arrangements and necessary certifications.
- Share relevant data collected by field technicians with the Pricing and Engineering teams, updating project management tools as needed.
- Conduct follow-ups with field technicians post-job completion, documenting any issues.
- Facilitate meetings with engineering, production, quality, and sales teams to address identified issues.
- Promptly communicate resolutions to customers, ensuring satisfaction with completed work.
- Lead weekly meetings to align the field technician team, discuss ongoing projects, and address challenges.
- Keep the scheduling board updated with real-time order additions.
- Report any order delays to relevant teams promptly.
- Provide Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) updates to relevant teams.
- Actively participate in the development and maintenance of new systems as required.
Qualifications:Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Demonstrated experience in scheduling and coordination within a technical or mechanical field.
- Prior experience as a Field Technician is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Proficient in project management tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lead effective team meetings.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with logistics coordination for field operations.
- Technical proficiency in diesel exhaust systems, welding, and electrical work.
- Commitment to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Willingness to travel independently to various locations.
- Flexibility to transition between scheduling coordination and field technician responsibilities.
- Mobility: Ability to navigate various environments, conduct site visits, and travel independently.
