Reporting to the Academic Operations Lead, this role, as the sole supervisor of the administrative team, provides overall leadership and management functions for this group as individuals and as a team.

The position assures that all work performed by the team meets the administrative quality and service delivery requirements of the school.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, mentoring and coaching to program administrative staff.
  • Liaise between leadership/management and program administrative staff to ensure program and School needs are met.
  • Provide organization & coordination of administrative functions within the school.
  • Assist in budget preparation, monitoring and analysis.
  • Develop & implement new process & procedures to ensure continuous quality improvement.
  • Develop & implement consistent training/cross training process for new and existing staff.
  • Provide support in general administrative tasks as required.

Skills and Abilities:

Qualifications:

  • Related degree such as Arts, Commerce or Business Administration
  • 35 years of supervisory/leadership experience
  • Equivalencies may be considered

Remuneration:
$2, $2,714.07 bi-weekly plus a comprehensive benefits package (AUPE Classification: Admin Officer I)

  • This position is covered by the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) Collective Agreement._
