The HR Programs and Services Team oversees legislative programming and requirements, employment and labour relations along with safe and respectful workplace programs.
As an integral member of this team, the Human Resources Assistant will provide primary support to The Centre for Conflict Resolution and Ethics (CCRE).
This team provides oversight, administration and management of complaint and feedback mechanisms for rights-based complaints, including but not limited to Employment Equity and Accommodations, Official Languages, Workplace Harassment and Violence Prevention.
The Centre also provides informal conflict management services and policy advice and training on organizational values and ethical behaviour.This is not your traditional HR Assistant position
The position will provide administrative support in the delivery of
legislated programs and services including but not limited to; responding to inquiries, conducting research, record keeping, creating presentations and reports along with assisting with the development and implementation of related procedures, tools and programs.
