About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Student to join our team in Ottawa, Ontario. As a key member of our Canadian Buildings Division, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in human resources management and contribute to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with professional development initiatives, including coordinating internal training and course setup.
  • Maintain the applicant tracking system, screen resumes, schedule interviews, greet candidates, and perform reference checks.
  • Prepare for new employee and new student orientations.
  • Provide administrative support for employee career management.
  • Organize Health & Wellness events and initiatives.
  • Implement various HR initiatives and projects.
  • Update and generate monthly reports.
  • Manage and organize the College of Construction courseware database and library.
Requirements
  • Working towards a degree or diploma in human resources management or a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and respond to changing demands.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and learning management systems.
