Position Summary:

The Project Coordinator, Ancillary Revenue & Physical Design is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day activities of the Ancillary Revenue & Physical Design department.

This role involves managing administrative tasks, coordinating projects, and collaborating with internal departments and external vendors to drive projects and initiatives forward.

The Project Coordinator, Ancillary Revenue & Physical Design will also assist in reconciling records, reviewing contracts, and ensuring effective communication between internal and external teams.


Responsibilities:

  • Effectively oversee and coordinate the daily operations and progress tracking of departmental activities.
  • Coordinates projects for specific revenue streams and tracks progress of these projects.
  • Facilitate effective communication between CAPREIT and external vendors to ensure seamless project management and adherence to timelines.
  • Collaborate with other CAPREIT departments to obtain necessary information and approvals to keep ancillary projects on schedule and ensure proper processes are adhered to.
  • Review vendor contracts to comprehend contractual clauses and terms and extract pertinent information for team reference.
  • Maintain and organize documentation in Sharepoint, including contracts, plans, quotes, purchase orders, etc.
  • Coordinate with the Finance and Accounting departments on a regular basis to ensure records are reconciled as needed.
  • Schedule meetings, prepare meeting materials, attend meetings to take accurate minutes and follow up on action items
  • Execute travel and meeting arrangements as required.

Requirements:

  • 23 years' experience in an Administrative/Coordination role
  • Contracts and Property Management experience is an asset
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and keep projects on track.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
