Reporting to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management, this position is responsible for leading the overall Supply Chain strategy and processes for multiple facilities on-going operations and material needs.

This will include all aspects of procurement planning, subsequent sourcing activities and material coordination with other SC teams ensuring the proper agreements, vendor relationships and inventory/materials management adherence.

The Supervisor, SCM Operations will be responsible for utilizing considerable independent judgement, collaborative techniques, tools, and methodologies to align the business material needs, supplier support and internal customer objectives to leverage ATCO spend and needs.

Utilizing knowledge of materials management methodology, ensuring the proper coordination of critical spares, vendor managed inventories and on-site inventories for multiple facilities, central warehouses and distribution.

Coordination of required inventories, proper inventory allocations, shipping coordination, proper receiving and cycle counts as required.
Proper storage and required maintenance for critical spares and back up inventories.
System maintenance for inventory records, changes, descriptions, sales, disposal, movement tracking and transfers.
Coordinate procurement activities for ongoing operations through proper planning, sourcing events, evaluation and management of required vendor agreements, relationships and orders
7+ years working experience in Materials Management role(s) within a related industry
~Post secondary diploma in Business, Supply chain or equivalent is required
~ Effective planning, scheduling, and prioritizing of a shifting workload.
