In this role, you'd support delivering world-class VLT experiences to players in Saskatchewan by working closely with our provincial partners and regulators (Lottery and Gaming Saskatchewan and The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority) to make sure the services and products we're bringing to market help meet their goals - while also meeting our partners and players' high expectations.

  • Lead, coach, and mentor team members, fostering personal development and an inclusive and collaborative working environment.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to set and refine operational processes and act as a support and escalation point for our Quality Assurance, Retail Services, and Operations teams.
  • Develop and track business goals and KPIs for our retail support teams.
  • Manage and track all production and quality assurance testing issues.
  • Manage and track all VLT Vendor issues we experience in production and in quality assurance, communicating the impact and significance with each vendor.
  • Build close and productive relationships with our partner and regulatory organizations.
  • Help drive and support new initiatives, projects, and player experiences.
  • Advise, counsel, and educate our leadership team and our partners on the competitive or financial impact of projects and provide datadriven business cases and costbenefit analysis.
  • Develop, track, and forecast the annual operating and capital budgets for your teams.

Qualifications
We're looking for someone

  • Who is experienced in leading corporate initiatives from design to delivery; someone who knows how to take concepts from "strategy" to "operational process."
  • With a track record of building and maintaining collaborative, productive partnerships and leading through influence, persuasion, and negotiation.
  • Who can synthesize complex information to make datadriven decisions.
  • Who demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to meaningfully interact with different audiences and stakeholder audiences.
  • Has a degree or diploma from a businessrelated program, or appropriate relevant experience.
  • Has experience using and managing cloudbased telecommunication systems.
  • Is proficient using Excel, Teams and SharePoint to foster collaboration and team building.
  • With experience using any CRM or Enterprise Asset Management Systems
  • Who has a basic understanding of software testing/lifestyle and database concepts.
  • Who has a level of understanding of how some server automation occurs (cron jobs, shell scripts, etc).

Who we are
WCLC's VLT division is contracted by LGS (Lotteries and Gaming Saskatchewan) to manage and operate VLTs in Saskatchewan.

The VLT division operates 4,200 VLTs across the province, and WCLC provides training, installation, and maintenance of the VLTs, as well as a central operating system.

WCLC is the non-profit organization authorized to manage, conduct, and operate lottery and gaming-related activities at retail and online for the governments of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba as well as The Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut.

We work closely with our governmental partners to bring a first-rate lottery experience to our players and meet their changing needs with new technology and tools.

We know it's our people that make this possible, which is why we invest in building talented, adaptable, and accountable teams.

We'd love to talk to you about how you fit into that.

We offer a challenging, collaborative work environment, competitive benefits, and a good work-life balance.
