This pivotal role, reporting directly to the Workforce Director, encompasses the leadership of Labour Relations (LR) initiatives within the organization. The Workforce Manager will be instrumental in addressing employee concerns, managing Labour Relations issues, fostering stakeholder connections, and working closely with management to drive operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage employee inquiries and resolve grievances effectively
- Establish and nurture relationships with stakeholders
- Collaborate with management to formulate strategies and plans
- Provide mentorship to frontline managers and supervisors
- Plan and oversee workforce requirements
- Lead the workforce management team
- Coordinate with the Talent Acquisition team for recruitment
- Design and implement relevant programs and initiatives
- Supervise training materials and safety certifications
Qualifications:
- 10-12 years of relevant experience in the field
- Experience in field sites or Labour Relations is advantageous
- A degree in HR or Labour Relations is preferred
- Background in the construction industry is beneficial
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Willingness to travel as required
