Reporting directly to the Workforce Director, this role is pivotal in steering Labour Relations (LR) initiatives within the organization. Key responsibilities encompass managing employee concerns, directing Labour Relations activities, fostering stakeholder connections, and collaborating with management to fulfill operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage employee inquiries and address grievances
- Establish and nurture stakeholder relationships
- Work alongside management to devise strategies and plans
- Guide and mentor frontline managers and supervisors
- Plan and manage workforce requirements
- Lead the workforce management team
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team for recruitment
- Design and implement relevant programs and initiatives
- Oversee training materials, safety certifications, and compliance
Qualifications:
- 10-12 years of relevant experience in the field
- Experience in Labour Relations or field site operations is advantageous
- A degree in HR or Labour Relations is preferred
- Experience in the construction sector is beneficial
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Willingness to travel as required
