Overall Responsibilities


Reporting to the Regional Field Sales Manager, Territory Account Managers are responsible for generation of sales and execution within their respective territory (Vancouver Island) home base Victoria, distribution and sell in of new products, continual sharing of product knowledge/education, upselling bookings and Customer promotions, pre-packs, store level POP and influencing secondary display placements.

Specific Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Order generation by bookings, and selling of deals, where applicable and/or enforce compliance at retail when programs are initiated by Head Office.
  • Sell in and educate on all new product listing opportunities
  • Performance pharmacy details/educating all customers on JWEL house of brands
  • Monitor/Influence and sell in secondary displays leveraging IQVIA (Real time data), POS sales reports, targeting key points of interruption throughout the store
  • Monitor and influence, mainline space (POG) to ensure proper positioning of brands/products in all accounts, as determined by Key Accounts, Channel leads, and territory needs that support our company sales objectives
  • Ensure flawless execution for all customer quarterly priorities
  • Collaborate with the commercial strategy team and other internal stakeholders to execute all events and promotions
  • Monitoring/influencing correction of over stocks and out of stocks, and zero on hands inventory levels
  • Monitor and share back competitive Intel, leveraging Yammer, and IPAD questions
  • Maintain critical and accurate information on accounts and customer asks through essential IPAD tool
  • Preplan call cycle based on Customer and/or JWEL priorities
  • Maintain accurate account files
  • Assisting A/R with payment collection when required for HF Channel
  • Meet all deadlines set out by the sales leadership team
  • Cultivate a strong Channel and brandled culture through brand evangelism, conveying our Vision, Mission and Values.
  • Manage trade support budget and monitor ROI spend
  • Attend select trade shows throughout the year as required
  • Meet established sales goals within your territory and account responsibilities as set out by Regional Field Sales Manager
  • Lead and collaborate with the senior sales leadership team on field execution for the plans within their channel.
  • Complete Retail Audits when required
  • Establish a strong network with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Working in compliance with the company's Health & Safety Policies/SOPs including but not limited to the Safety Responsibilities Procedure
  • Will comply with Good Manufacturing Practices in all GMP sensitive areas of facilities
  • Other duties and projects as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements

  • College, University Diploma or three (3) years field experience
  • Sales & Merchandising experience preferred within Health (VMS) and/or HF Channel
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office
  • Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Bilingual an asset – within QC Market
  • Proven ability to work independently and on own initiatives
  • Collaborative, multitasking, ability to build a relationship with a variety of people
  • Organized and able to make independent decisions
  • Enthusiastic, ambitious, eager to learn and interested in future growth
  • Driver's License and able to travel to make customer visits and meetings
  • Able to handle stock, loading and unloading vehicle (approximately 30 lbs. at a time)
