As a Civil Field Engineer, you will be the on-site representative at our refinery in Saint John, NB for the Civil/Structural/Architectural (CSA) Engineering Services Group. Your role involves supporting the Project Execution Team during construction activities, addressing project issues, and collaborating with field coordinators and contractors to ensure adherence to engineering specifications.

Your Responsibilities:
- Review work orders to ensure compliance with design specifications and project data.
- Provide technical input for project planning and scheduling, identifying potential risks.
- Address requests for information and field change notices promptly.
- Collaborate with Engineering Services and Contractors to resolve design issues.
- Stay updated on project progress by meeting with the Project Execution Group daily.
- Coordinate quality control activities and ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Verify completion of civil/structural work and support maintenance engineering.
Your Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Effective coordination and clear direction-giving skills.
- Collaborative mindset for designing end solutions with team members.
- Excellent analytical and presentation skills with attention to detail.
Your Experience:
- B.Sc. in Civil Engineering.
- P.Eng. or eligibility for P.Eng. status in NB.
- Preferably 5+ years of Civil/Structural Experience in the Heavy Industrial Sector.
