Natural Forces is a top Canadian clean energy company that collaborates with Indigenous Communities, CEDCs, Municipalities, and other local communities in Canada, Ireland, and France.

Natural Forces owns assets and maintains project ownership for the long term. Currently, we are in search of an Accounts Payable and Payroll Coordinator for a full-time position at our head office in downtown Halifax.

The primary responsibilities of the role include:

  • Manage all payroll activities for the organization.

Key Tasks and Duties:

Payroll and Benefits Administration

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for Canadian employees.
  • Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve related issues.
  • Verify, maintain, and organize payroll information and documentation.
  • Update WCB rates with payroll provider.
  • Maintain electronic payroll files as required.

Accounts Payable Accounting

  • Prepare invoice payment reports for review.
  • Process invoices accurately with support from the accounting team.
  • Update and maintain vendor database.
  • Skills and Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent in business administration, accounting, or payroll administration.

Experience with Microsoft Excel for summarizing and organizing raw data is required. Experience in a construction environment is considered an asset.
