  • Job Description
Mission

The Senior Director - Earth and Environment will steer and oversee CIMA+'s environmental and geotechnical practice in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). This role is crucial to the growth and progress of CIMA+ in the GTA region and within our Ontario Leadership Team. Earth and Environment services will assist each of CIMA+'s four main sectors (Energy and Resources, Transportation, Infrastructure, and Buildings) and also cultivate its sustainable external client base. This role will be supported by the existing Environment team situated outside the GTA.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead our Earth and Environment business and team in the GTA.
  • Create and uphold a strategic growth plan for the Earth and Environment sector in the GTA that aligns with CIMA+'s growth plan in the core sectors.
  • Foster client relationships, generate leads, and secure contracts to meet business objectives, sales targets, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams in preparing proposals within the GTA, contributing to the assessment of bid and pricing strategies.
  • Profile
  • Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree or a relevant qualification.
  • Minimum of 15 years of applicable experience in the earth and environment sector within the GTA.
  • Demonstrated business development expertise, including a track record of establishing and maintaining effective relationships with a client base.
  • Proficiency in strategic planning, team leadership, quality assurance, and budget management.
  • Strong leadership abilities and capacity to nurture and galvanize a team.
  • Demonstrates exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
