The Corporate Data Management team is within the Data & Analytics group of the CTO to support the Corporate Areas.
- Support and implement Enterprise Standards and Data Strategy through a number of programs and projects;
- Work in partnership with business lines to build, operationalize and support effective and efficient data management and governance in alignment with the Enterprise Data Information Policy and Standards;
- Facilitate execution of the Data Management initiatives across LoBs driven by the EDGO;
- Participate in data related projects and initiatives supporting data analysis, tasks and activities in accordance with the Data Management Operating Model;
- Execute activities for the establishment and ongoing operation of Data Quality Management and Data Issue and Change Governance ;
- Support data related regulatory compliance programs.

Job Description:
- Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Data Management, this position is responsible for providing data expertise, business leadership and leading data governance and data management activities to support Global Anti-Money Laundering (Global AML) line of business.
- The key accountabilities include:
- Work collaboratively with Global AML business partners to complete enterprise data & analytics programs and processes in accordance with the EDGO standards and requirements
- Support Global AML in their Data Strategy, EDGO Standards and Data Management accountabilities.
- Be a key stakeholder as required, for projects impacting the business line, ensuring accountabilities related to data in projects are met including related artifacts
- Support the business line in the activities related to data quality standards including Data Criticality and Data Issue & Change.
- Analyze and understanding business and data requirement to support projects, including activities such as business rules, datalife cycle management, governance, lineage, meta data and reporting elements.
- Act as a strategic partner by leading implementations and relationships with key enterprise partners and interfacing with key data providers
- Work closely with various technology/project teams to understand business data and provide analysis and requirements to ensure the data design/development initiatives are in line with the planned design and standards
- Develop and maintain knowledge of data available from upstream sources and data within various platforms
- Provide support throughout data lifecycle to resolve data issues and support user community by helping users interpret the data
- Identify and/or define knowledge transfer and data expertise activities to support business teams
- Works independently as a senior lead on activities related to analysis, design and support of business data management
- Lead & manage deliverables as required and escalate as appropriate to management
- Provide timely updates and escalations to senior management and ensure messages to stakeholders are consistent, appropriate and aligned to business strategies.
- Assist with other data governance and data management related tasks as required
- Collaborate effectively with partners within CTO, within GAML, as well as technology partners.
- Lead, motivate and develop relationships with internal and external business partners to develop productive working relationship.
