About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audio/Visual Estimator to join our team at GAV MGMT. As an AV Installation Specialist, you will play a critical role in creating accurate and timely quotes that meet the needs of our clients while ensuring profitability for our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quote Creation: Review and analyze architectural plans and specifications to determine the type and quantity of materials required for audio video installations.
  • Estimating and Pricing: Formulate accurate and detailed quotes for project design materials, taking into account standard company pricing, discounts, estimating formulas, and guidelines.
  • Quote Management: Process revisions and change orders as required, as well as new requests for tenders, to ensure timely completion.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including the Drafting Team and Project Management team, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve quoting processes and recommend cost-effective and profitable solutions to the company.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Post-secondary education in Architectural Technology, Construction Estimator, or related field, with 1-3 years of estimating experience in the A/V field.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Proficient with estimating software, tools, and MS Excel, with a working knowledge of other MS Office programs.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This is a hybrid home and office role, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to work efficiently, manage time effectively, and meet productivity goals.
