We are currently looking for an Engineer, Production Engineering, Delivery Package to join our team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will provide technical guidance to enhance production procedures, processes, and controls.
Reporting to the Engineering Delivery Package (EDP) – Team Lead, your responsibilities will include:
- Procurement Package (Procpack) Support
- Make vs. Buy Assessments
- Govern Engineering Delivery Packages
- Manufacturing Data
This is a full-time role in Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia, where English is the primary language of work. We strongly encourage applications from diverse backgrounds to promote inclusivity in our workforce.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Recognized Degree in Engineering (e.g., Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial)
- Accredited to the Professional Engineer's Nova Scotia – P.ENG
- PMI certification or equivalent is an asset
- Experience:
- 4-8 years in a complex industrial and manufacturing environment
- 4-8 years with manufacturing process assessment and development
- Shipbuilding experience is an asset
All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and other security regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report writing / Technical authoring
- Capability review through analysis of manufacturing & design data
- Technical Support to Procurement
