About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Fernie, BC. As a key member of our municipal engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing infrastructure projects that have a lasting impact on our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop municipal engineering projects, including road corridors, traffic calming measures, and multi-modal transportation systems
  • Collaborate with our team of engineers, technologists, and planners to deliver infrastructure projects that minimize environmental impact and maximize community benefit
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our design and delivery processes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in municipal engineering design, including lot grading, roads, drainage, water distribution, and sewer systems
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Excel
  • Strong communication and project management skills
