JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Job Summary:

The College of Engineering consists ofnine academic departments and 40+ research centers, which along with theDean\'s Office, has 2800 faculty, academic and university staff,employees in training, graduate, and undergraduate employees.

TheCollege has an annual operating budget of 215M from multiple fundingsources.

The College has nine buildings totaling approximately 820,045square feet from which it operates its classroom instruction,instructional and research laboratories, and administrative offices.

TheSenior Facilities Design position is an integral part of the College ofEngineering (CoE) Facilities Group. The successful candidate willprimarily focus on leading instructional and research remodelingprojects for the CoE.

The specific tasks can include:
programming,preliminary design, furniture specifications, estimating, purchasing,and project management. This position will report to the AssociateDirector of Facilities and collaborate closely with the entireFacilities Team.

This position will also interact with CampusFacilities, Planning and Management, Physical Plant, Outside Vendors,CoE Dean\'s office, faculty/staff, and students to ensure that projectsare designed and constructed as specified.
