Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President, Planning and Infrastructure (VP) leads, directs, and oversees all aspects of the VAA's capital improvement program ensuring that airport infrastructure (e.g.

runways, buildings, roads, utilities, underground systems, etc.) and systems (information technology, GIS, building automation, baggage systems, etc.) comply with regulatory requirements and meet the current and future requirements of airport passengers, airlines, systems and services.

The VP is accountable for the oversight of a multi-million dollar annual capital and operations budget and the successful implementation of numerous infrastructure and facilities projects each year.

The VP works in close collaboration with the CEO, the Board, other members of the executive team, and a wide network of internal and external contacts and partners.

They also lead a multidisciplinary team of employees.
