We are looking for an individual with at least 3 years' experience as a leader in a medical practice environment.

We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic Office Manager who can continue to lead, guide, and motivate our team to provide excellent care.

Knowledge about Oscar EMR is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Human Resource Management including performance appraisal
  • Oversee successful management of all front desk activities
  • Oversee physicians scheduling in office and the hospital call system
  • Managing and Scheduling staff
  • Billings and Account receivable
  • Patient Relations, compliments and complaints
  • Reporting preparing regular reports and submissions to required organizations
  • Manage all facilities and technical support issues
  • Ensure policies and procedures are followed
  • Ability to fill in at any position within the front administrative staff
  • Occupational Health and Safety
  • Fire Safety Checking
  • Workplace Harassment and Human Rights Code Procedures implementation
  • Employment Standards Act compliance
  • Privacy requirements / PHIPA

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Calm under pressure
  • Takes initiative
  • Adaptable and open to change
  • Experience managing a team
  • Excellent communications kills (written and verbal)
  • Good technical skills (phone, fax, computer, printers)
  • Medical office or healthcare experience
  • WHMIS training
  • IPAC guideline knowledge
  • Oscar EMR experience is an asset but not required
  • Physician Billing Knowledge an asset but not required

Experience:

Medical Office: 3 years or more (preferred)

Job Types:

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
