Our client, a company operating in the financial sector, is looking for an Assistant to support the company's teams. This is a temporary position in Ottawa.
We are looking for a dynamic and organized individual who can work in a high pressure environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and support to the team and work closely with supervisors
  • Ensure written, telephone and electronic communications related to requests
  • Ensure the flow of information between the various stakeholders
  • Manage communication within his/her jurisdiction (writing letters, answering questions, follow-ups, etc.)
  • Ensure that the processes and programs put in place by the team are respected for the smooth running of the company
  • Be the resource person between the clients and the company
  • Gather information and documents necessary for the opening of customer accounts
  • Maintain and follow up on customer transactions
  • Ensure resolution of any issues to ensure proper delivery
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers in the preparation of account documents
  • Perform any other related tasks


Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in the wealth management (an asset)
  • Experience in the financial sector (required)
  • Fluent English
  • Knowledge of French (an asset)
  • Very good command of the Microsoft Office Suite
