Job Type:

At JMT Consultants Inc.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Tekla models following the structural and architectural design drawings and specifications, in compliance with applicable standards and building codes.
  • Create and edit concrete/rebar detail drawings & rebar schedules per customer requirements and standards.
  • Coordinate with fabricators, engineers and architects to meet project requirements
  • Create and incorporate all RFIs promptly when discrepancies are found, or additional information is required to complete the process, and follow up as required.
  • Prepare drawing packages and issue to the client per scheduled delivery dates

Qualifications:

  • Any level of knowledge of Tekla Structures or experience as a concrete/rebar detailer
  • Experience in concrete/rebar construction and the ability to read drawings
  • Selfmotivated and ability to complete multiple tasks with mínimal guidance
  • Deadline driven with an attention to detail

Requirements:

  • Diploma/certificate
  • Canadian Citizenship/Legally able to work In Canada
