Looking for a great opportunity towork in Canada's largest Automotive Group? Dilawri Group of Companies is currently looking to fill aposition of a Sales Manager.

The Sales Managerwill be responsible for assisting the General Manager in planning, organizing,controlling, and measuring the employees and activities of the SalesDepartment.

He/she will be directly responsible for the development of neededtraining programs for the new and used car salesmen. This person will teach alltraining classes or request a qualified person in sales management to assistwhen necessary.

He/she will also be responsible for all administrative detailsof the New/Used Car Department and others as assigned by the General Manager.

Recommend tothe General Manager the new car inventory to be carried by color, model,and equipment based on sales rate and current inventory.

Assist theGeneral Manager in forecasting controllable expense elements for theNew/Used Car Department.
Communicatewith assigned salespeople to insure that the dealership's policies andprocedures are understood.
Follow up forenforcement of all policy and procedure requirements.
Evaluatemonthly the gross and volume performance of his salespeople.
Ensure thatsalespeople plan a day's work each day through phone calls, emails andappointments using the company CRM system.
Hire,motivate, counsel and monitor the performance of all new/used vehiclesales employees.

Supervise thesalespeople to ensure that they follow up their owners on a plannedcontact basis through the company CRM system.

Reviewsalespeople's performance as shown on the Sales Consultants Review anddevelop specific training plans to reach their objectives.
Recommend fordismissal any salesperson failing to meet company standards and policies.
Conduct dailyand weekly sales training meetings as directed by the General Manager toinclude completion of all Manufacturer training.
Work with thesalespeople on programs that will increase the new/used car gross.
Work withsalespeople and Finance office to increase the finance and insurancepenetration.
Hold thesalespeople accountable in following the dealership's prospecting programto obtain maximum results through the company CRM system.
Coordinatethe function of salespeople with the Service Department, Parts Department,and Business Office.
Assist theGeneral Manager in planning programs that will aid each salesperson inreaching his/her objectives.

Review thepermanent records of performance for each of his/her salespeople anddetermine why the performance is above or below the stated goal.

Coordinatewith other Sales Managers in programs that will enhance his/her ownpersonal and professional development.
