We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to develop, plan, and implement Scotiabank's Digital Banking strategic priorities Small Business clients. This role will develop a compelling product vision, strategy, roadmap, and define key business objectives (OKRs).

You will leverage your deep understanding of business & technology strategies, customer feedback, analytics, market trends, and will continually prioritize the direction and desired outcomes for the product portfolio. You will partner with technology & design teams, control functions, and business lines to deliver the optimal customer experience.

Is this role right for you?

  • Creating measurable, repeatable value for internal and external customers.
  • Building scalable software solutions across platforms and devices.
  • Lead problem discovery to understand customer needs, current challenges and work closely with design and engineering partners to come up with solutions.
  • Creating, communicating, and gaining buy-in for your product vision and feature roadmap.
  • Collaborating and building strong relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including engineering, analytics, marketing, UX/UI, business partners and other product teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Driving short and long-term product strategies, and goals, and scaling new capabilities across platforms.
  • Continuously interpreting customer needs and business pain points to determine the biggest problems to solve.
  • Making data-informed decisions & conducting hypothesis-driven product development.
  • Understanding how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

  • 5+ years of experience in a role building customer-facing digital products
  • You have experience in web, mobile, or microservice development
  • You have led a technology product or a digital journey end to end, from inception to delivery
  • Experience working in or with cross functional teams such as Engineering, Design, and Accessibility teams
  • You are a strong problem solver and have a bias for action
  • You have a curious and experimental mindset to drive innovation amidst uncertainty
  • You have excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at different levels in the organizations
